Join our local, dedicated, and heart-warming community of pediatric nurse practitioners in southwest Texas and neighboring New Mexico. We began our chapter in 2020 with the mutual goal of developing recognition and respect for the pediatric nurse practitioner profession and being an asset to the children and their families in the community. We are building a strong network of pediatric nurse practitioners who can contribute to our community as primary advocates for our pediatric population. As a chapter and part of our national organization, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), we remain up to date on local, state, and national legislation regarding our role and practice. Frequent educational programs for members are ongoing to keep up with the most recent evidence-based practices. Having local universities in the area, our chapter serves as a resource for students and new graduates.
